Sonar for the Blind

Sonar_for_the_Blind A new product design makes use of Sonar technology to enable a person with vision impairment to navigate complex environments. Steve Hoeffer, a globally recognized inventor out of San Francisco, CA, developed this device that measures the distance to things and translates that into pressure on the wrist of the wearer. The greater the pressure, the closer the object.
