New Hotel Regulations Coming Soon!
The new ADAAG goes into affect on March 15th, and it includes provisions that should help guests with disabilities receive the accessible hotel rooms that they need.
The new regulations require that Hotels do the following:
• Identify and publicize the accessibility features available in their guest rooms and common areas
• Make accessible rooms bookable in the same way as non-accessible rooms
• Hold accessible rooms for guests with disabilities, until all other rooms of that type have been booked
• Block accessible rooms at the time of booking
