By Car

From the Capitol Beltway (Interstate 495)
South on Route 650 (New Hampshire Avenue) for approximately 3-1/2 miles. Turn right onto Route 410 (Ethan Allen Avenue/ East-West Highway) and proceed for approximately 3/4 mile to the signal light at the intersection with Carroll Avenue. Go through the intersection and make an immediate right onto Grant Avenue (before the Citgo Station). We are the first building on the left. Use the parking lot in the rear and enter through the rear side door.
From Washington, DC
North on North Capital Street. Cross Missouri Avnue and bear right onto New Hampshire Avenue (Route 650). Turn left onto Route 410 (Ethan Allen Avenue/ East-West Highway) and proceed for approximately 3/4 mile to the signal light at the intersection with Carroll Avenue. Map from the Metro stop to the UD&C offices
Take the Red Line to the Takoma Metro Station. Exit the station and either take a bus or walk east on Carroll Avenue (a 16 minute walk through historic Takoma Park). The sidewalks and curb ramps along this route are continuous, but there are some broken portions and some curb ramps are steep and narrow. Metro Bus or Ride-On bus transfers should be obtained at the station where you first board the train. Board Metro bus Z19 or Ride-On busses 12, 13, or 18 at the Takoma station. Exit the bus at Takoma Junction, the intersection of Carrol and Ethan Allen Avenue/ East West Highway. Our building is on Grant Avenue adjacent to the Citgo Station and is visible from the intersection. Enter through the rear side door.
